Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI’ve been growing a Mango seedling for about 6 months now. It is in a small greenhouse in a southfacing window (I live in The Netherlands, zone 8). Today I noticed all leaves except the youngest ones were covered in a sticky sap (which I wiped off) and there were black spots all over the bottom of the leaves. Is this a kind of mold or pest and is there any treatment?
I hope anyone can help me!

It seems to be bacterial spotting. It could have been caused by insects, as this is a common source for bacterial infections, but overwatering is also a common way to introduce the infection.
Make sure that the saucer never contains sitting water. Always pour out any excess. Now would be a good time to pot it up into a slightly larger container, being mindful not to overwater in the new container.
A fungicide can be a good treatment option, as well as cutting heavily infected growth. Leaves will be replaced, so stopping the spread of the infection is worth the temporary mangled look.
