Q.What are some easy to grow indoor climbing vines?

Zone 5 | lilg72813 added on January 16, 2012 | Answered

I would like to plant an easy to care for climbing vine around a pole that is in my classroom. Can you please give me some types of plants I could use and what kind of trellis would you use to go around a pole? I can send you a picture if need be. Thanks!

In my opinion, you can't go wrong with pothos or philidendron. They're both extremely care free. Here is more info (the last one also includes additional vine choices): https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/houseplants/pothos/pothos-plant-care.htm

a nice vine that grows fast and is not fussy--great kid plant too-- is a sweet potato---all you need is a container with water --put tooth picks in the potato about 3-4 to hold it up --half way out of the water-- change the water occasionally---------
