Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comWhat are precautions for spraying Sevin or Malathion to control webworms on pecan trees that are currently bearing young nuts? Pecan trees are of unknown variety and are about 12-15 years old. Webworms have just recently developed even though it is springtime, and I do not usually see them until fall season. Does not appear to be tentworms.

Since Webworms are generally a fall issue while the tree is not bearing nuts, it may be best left to a profession application of treatment.
