Q.West side of house under eve

Zone Huber Heights, OH 45424-2230 | Silverlady added on April 28, 2016 | Answered

I’m looking for a plant that will be happy with strong afternoon sun and dry soil conditions (under eave) in Ohio. Hosta not happy, ferns not happy. Would like a couple of perennial ideas, accents of annuals would be good as well. Thanks.

Hosta and Ferns prefer a shade location.

There are lots of perennials and annuals that can be grown in full sun.
