Q.Weeping cherry tree sap & mushrooms

sarahmiller added on May 17, 2018 | Answered

I have an older weeping cherry tree that has been blooming less and less white flowers each spring. About a year ago I noticed mushroom-like fungus on the trunk and oozing amber sap. However I also noticed new growth on one side… Can I save the tree? If so, how?

I sincerely hope to save this beautiful tree! Thank you!
