Q.Weeping Cherry Tree – No Shoots

Anonymous added on June 29, 2011 | Answered

I planted a weeping cherry tree in my garden about 6 years ago and for the first year it produced shoots that I pruned back off the ground. In subsequent years, it has produced blossoms every spring and also produces leaves, but for the last four seasons it has not produced any more shoots and seems to suffer from leaf curl during the summer. Any idea what may be wrong? Should I be using a fertilizer or some kind of spray?

Sounds like you have leaf spot or leaf curl and you're already on the right track. You should try spraying your tree with a fungicide.
