Weeping cherry tree

It’s August 1st and our tree has leaves turning yellow. And dropping off Is this normal?

Yellowing leaves can indicate a watering issue; too much or too little.
It also can be caused by pests or disease.

Check the soil moisture levels. Inspect the leaves and branches and trunk for signs of disease or pests.
