Q.weeping charry tree problem

About 5 of the largest main weeping branches have all died (one more is starting to have leaves dry up also). Some short new growth is coming in at the top of the tree. What do you suppose happened? What can be done?

If your branches died of disease, they definitely must be removed. If they died due to underwatering, removing them is not quite as urgent. Depending on how old the tree is, it may not have been planted correctly. These articles may help you:
