Q.Weeds Or Foreign Grass In Bermuda

Zone Peachtree City, Ga | Fish added on May 7, 2021 | Answered

I have a question about the new Bermuda sod in my daughter’s small yard. The sod was dormant when installed, and is still not established yet. Some kind of weeds are taking over. Do you know what this is, or what could be done? Not sure about weed killer since the grass is not established yet. Here are some pics.

It's a grassy weed, possibly a type of crabgrass. I don't think an herbicide would hurt as long as you get one for use on lawn.
