Weeds

What is the name of the weed (picture attached)? And how best to deal with it? I’ve just read your article on Wild Spring Onions. Do you deal with this type of weed in the same way? I’ve tried Roundup with seems to temporarily kill the weed but it seems to grow back again. I just can’t seem to kill them permanently. Many thanks.

We are not able to identify this weed.

Try digging as much of the root as you can. Weeds often have a long tap root so try to get the entire root.
You can cut the weed down as far as possible and paint the cut end with a small amount of herbicide. You can repeat that a few times to take care of a very stubborn weed.
