Weed in St Augustine

I have a St. Augustine lawn and am located in panhandle of Florida. The weed I have is low to ground – flat runners with small leaves from a single source and has small white flowers in late summer and is medium green.

Since I don’t know if you are asking for identification or eradication of the plant, I suggest taking a fresh sample to your local agricultural extension office for both identification and recommendations.
