Question

Should I use black plastic or mesh type material to control the weeds in my garden? This is my 3rd year planting and my garden is 25 ft wide by 50 ft long, and gets a little hard controlling the weeds. Just wondering what my best options are?

Either is fine, as would be landscape fabric. The only downside to black plastic would be the heat is draws while the other options allow for good airflow. Whatever you choose, you should also add a decent layer of mulch.
