Dogwood not flowering

We transplanted our dogwood three years ago and it hasn’t had a flower after that. What can we do to make it flower again? It looks just fine and is growing well.

There are many reasons a dogwood tree may not bloom, which may be totally unrelated to the transplant. Many of those reasons are listed here:

However, I did read that it can take several years (5-7) for dogwoods to bloom when they have been moved to a new location.
