Tree Ferns

Q.We Think We Have Brazilian Tree Ferns And Have A Problem With A High Proportion Of The Leaves Dying.

The leaf segments shrivel up into brown string-like shapes. Sometimes this affects over 50% of the leaves. The other leaves appear healthy. I will forward a couple of photos.

This will be one of the many Cycads, which will have very different care than the tree fern.

One thing about these is that they are very prone to Manganese deficiency. (Not Magnesium!!!) Most often, the problems that you see with Cycads will be due to high soil pH. Here are some articles to help you:
