We Planted A Bare Root Beech Hedge Last Spring, Which All Leafed, But Several Died Off After 2 Months

Original new plants planted early spring 2019. 13 died as above. We replaced this spring with new bare root plants. The same has happened but some are plants that have been in 2 years. Sandy soil but kept watered, and all plants watered the same

Possibly, they were overwatered. Saturated soils allow for infections to take over. Until the infection is stopped, it will likely keep happening, unfortunately.
