that the good Acer has a few of the white things on it; Tiny white what looks like larva are all over one of the Acer’s any idea’s?

The picture is just a little blurry, but it does appear to be a Vine Weevil larva. Both the larvae and beetles will damage your trees. This article will give you more information about them:
