Q.rhododendron wilting

Zone NJ shore area | leonard3940 added on September 4, 2015 | Answered

We have new rhododendrons that are wilting. Gardener says it’s fusarium and we should water less and only in the early morning. Does this sound right?

I would remove any dead or diseased material and dispose of.
You can treat the plants with a copper sulfite fungicide.
Avoid splashing water onto the plant.
