Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.complace. Is creeping fig vine the best option? If not what do you suggest? The wood wall is next to a creek. It is about 6′ tall. It is rotten enough in some areas the dirt is exposed. Replacing it would be prohibitively expensive. I was hoping to plant a vine on the wall the help hold if back. Another option may be trees in the water in front of the wall, but it is mostly rocks at the base of the wall. This is located in Atlanta GA. Any suggestion you have would be greatly appreciated.

A creeping fig would, actually, fit the purpose just fine! Your area is within the zone range for the tree, so it will be up to proper care for the tree to remain happy.
