Q.watermelon leaves

The leaves of some of the watermelon vines that I have planted have turned yellow along with the vines, leaving the front and growing part of the plant to be green.
added to this dilemma, the plants have not produced any water melon at all, even though they had some yellow flowers.
our climate in Erbil, Kurdistan is having a very hot weather in the past few days.
