How frequently should I water my yucca plant outside?

Yucca plants are very drought tolerant, like a cactus. They only need to be watered when they become overly dry and should be watered just enough to get the soil good and moist. They are generally fine with a thorough watering about once a month, maybe twice if grown in pots.
