watering potted vegetable plants

i have about 9 vegetables plants in pots. we used plants food, but now i want to know how often do i water. i think that i should never let the soil become dry, but how often and how much water.

Potted vegetables will need daily watering, and even more often if temperatures are above 80 degrees F.
