Watering New Zoysia Sod

I have just placed zoysia sod in my backyard. I watered real heavy after. I then let it set over night and the next morning I watered very lightly. How much and how often should I water this grass?

I would water once or twice a week only. This creates a healthier grass as the roots grow deeper. The amount you water should be between 1-2″ (or more), depending on how hot it gets in your area.
