Q.Watering A Potted Calla Lily
Hello My son gifted me the most beautiful vibrant yellow bloomed Calla Lily on May 12. It was doing beautifully. 2 weeks laterI decided to, like my other plants, water it with rain water..since then, my blooms are turning green. I do know that nitrogen will cause greening of blooms. I do not understand why it was very yellow and after watering with rain waters is turning green. It sits in a East window with plenty of light. My question…. Does rain water contain enough nitrogen to cause greening? What is my resolve for this problem and will it come back to it its’ beautiful vibrant yellow color? Please help. Thank You.

The rainwater would not have adversely affected your calla lily. It may need more light, or it may just be the bloom is fading and can be removed. Try moving the plant to a south or west window and see if that helps. Here is more:
