watering a lemon tree

Ok, so how much and how many times do I water a lemon tree? I was given a small one to resurrect. I have a bit of a green ? but I don’t know that much about a lemon tree. ?

Water your lemon tree as you would most houseplants. Allow the soil to dry slightly between waterings.
