Watering a Garden

I have a question concerning my vegetable garden. We have several different veggies in our garden box with canals for water. We also water at night (late late afternoon). We live in Nevada and it is super hot during the summer. Some of our plants are doing awesome, but some of the are doing sad. We believe that our ground isn’t watered enough.

There’s a good chance you are over-watering your plants. Always check the soil before watering, if it’s somewhat damp, don’t water. On average plants require about an inch of water each week, maybe two in drought-prone regions. This article should help as well: [1]
