Q.water quality for CP,s

Zone 41183 | Anonymous added on January 22, 2019 | Answered

I know about not using water with more than 50ppm. However, nothing is ever said about the chemicals that are in tap water. I’m currently using distilled water but entertaining the idea of using a ZERO WATER pitcher which claims to drop PPM to near zero. What about chemicals?
Thanks for any information you can provide.

Those are designed to filter out almost all chemicals. This will be fine as long as your fertilizer contains micronutrients like chlorine (which plants use just a tiny bit) but only a small amount is needed. So as long as you fertilize with a good quality food, then this will be very beneficial for the plants.
