If our walnut tree froze in the spring, will it get new leaves?

It depends on the zone you're in (check here https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/planting-zones/usda-planting-zone-map.htm) and the variety of walnut tree.

All of them leaf out pretty late, so I'd be surprised if yours didn't sprout new growth.
