I believe I have BLACK WALNUT growing. How long before I see flower/fruit? The age of tree, etc? Are they a self pollinating type tree?

Thanks

Black walnuts will not produce fruit and nuts until they are 10 years old. Black walnuts will sometimes self-pollinate, but this is inefficient, so more than one tree is required for optimal nut production.
