Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI would like to ask if I can cut back Our mature vine jasmine …. we are redesigning the garden and would like to keep it but retrain new vines along a new wooden pergola. If we cut the overgrown ball of foliage back, will we get new growth that we can train or will we kill it?
Thanks

It is completely possible to cut it back pretty hard. You will just have to know when it blooms to know when to cut. Here is an article that will help further: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/jasmine/trimming-jasmine-plants.htm [1]
