Q.Very Small Yard

Anonymous added on May 23, 2011 | Answered

I have an area on the north side of my house and would like to plant tomatoes, sunflowers, pumpkins and melons. Would this work due to being close to the house?

As long as you get 5-6 hours of sun, it will be fine. Actually, being close to the house may work out better than farther away since all of the plants you want to grow enjoy heat. The house will be reflecting extra heat back at them, which they will like.
