Jade Plants

Q.Very large jade is to large for the area I keep it. Can I cut branches the are about 1 inch in diameter for rooting new plants?

Plant is about 2 feet tall and 4 feet in diameter. I would like the make it about half the size it is now.

You have 2 options. One is to propagate the jade with cuttings. The other is to divide the plant. Two articles explain the procedures:
