Using COTTON SEED MEAL In Potting Soil

A few weeks ago I asked for the amount of Cotton seed meal to use in in soil. I lost Your reply. I need the ratio…say how many cups meal per 1 cft soil mixture? Thank You.

You will want to mix the cottonseed at 5 percent of your total soil amount. Lets say, for example, you are using 20 gallons of soil. You will add 1 gallon of cottonseed meal. Measure the pH, though. It can be little on the acidic side. This is a general amount for potting soil. Each plant might have just a little bit of a different amount needed. I\'d check the nutrient levels before you add.
