Q.Used “Natures Care Garden Insect Control” On Potted Meyer Lemon Tree. Now Its Dying.

Zone Wichita Falls, Tx 76311 | Anonymous added on November 1, 2020 | Answered

How do I fix it? Is there even a fix to this? I sprayed it, and the next day, almost all the leaves were curled and drooping. Do I just wait it out and hope it doesnt die? It’s 2.5 years old. Fairly small still. Not sure what I did wrong.

I read the product label and it lists other fruit trees but not lemon trees as safe to use. It's possible lemon trees are more sensitive to the product and burned. Also, when applying, it says to wet the leaves but not to the point of dripping or runoff.

If you haven't already, rinse the leaves with water to dilute any remaining insecticide. If your plant was already stressed, such as needing water or high temperature, that can affect pesticide results as well.

Keep it well watered and hopefully it will recover. You can also call the company and see what they recommend.
