URGENT HELP!

Hey guys,

I live in a country that got nailed by the cold this winter and plus the power got cut off for almost a week and now I have a huge issue! I am an inside grower and have 9 beautiful plants but because the power was cut, no heat and no sun was given to the plants. I tried to save them with a gas heater and changing the room where they were so they didn’t freeze, but the nightmare became true and some of them are just struggling to live. The leaves are down and some of them just have only the small ones living. I cut off the dead ones, set them in the grow place and gave them foliage feed and nutrients. Now I can only pray to save them. It’s very sad since I put lots of energy and money into this and they are like my babies. It is sad to see ur children sick. 🙁

Please let me know if there is something more to do in order to save them.

I sent my hanging plants to a warmer climate with my friend. She is enjoying them and will return them to me come spring!! Kind of like ‘shared child custody’ with plants. : ))
Have also put some of my potted plants in our house’s crawl space and they do just fine. It is dark, but not freezing. They do look dead when I have checked on them, so I do not look anymore!!
Now to get these darn house violets to bloom!! Have done everything suggested here and there. If they don’t bloom soon, will send them to a plant hospital or buy artificial blooms to stick among the plant leaves.
Gardening does teach one patience, but am running out of that for now.

I know its sad but you should try cold weather plants like hostas.
