help with curry leaf plant

I live in London and we are heading into autumn/winter. I have successfully managed to grow the curry leaf plant from seed and I was horrified to see that my curry leaf is dying already when it was just started to grow. The new leaves are turning black and the on the 2nd plant I see white patches, but unable to figure out what is going wrong.

I also saw a small greenfly sitting on the stem, don’t know what is infecting them. 🙁 🙁 I have sprayed it with Bayer ultimate bug killer. Have I done the right thing? These plants were in my greenhouse up till now, but since they have got infected, I have moved them into my conservatory. Is that okay or should I get them in the house? Please help me save them. Please advise.

The leaf damage in the picture looks like damage from thrips insects. Check closely on the plant to see if you can find any tiny insects. Thrips can spread from plant to plant, so it’s best to keep this one away from your other plants, and to check your other plants for similar symptoms in case there are more thrips in the greenhouse.

The following articles explain how to control thrips. Biological control (releasing insects that are their natural predators), changing the plant’s environment, and careful use of insecticides can help. However, they are resistant to many pesticides.

thank you very much Alisma, yes you are right.. i did see very small green and brown insects sitting between the joints of two stems.and you are right again, It has spread to my other curry leaf plant which has just grown up from the seed.. how to identify which pest control would be effect to these sturdy ones!!
there is another seed cropping up from the same pot..you reckon i should remove and seed it in another pot??
