Unusual plant that appeared this year. Flower/seedhead looks as though it has been spray painted gold.

I attach a photo for your information. Not sure whether it is a flower or a seed head.

It could be a variety of common teasel or wild teasel (Dipsacus fullonum) a wildflower of England.
