Q.Unidentified house plant

Zone 91360 | Kendyllister added on February 4, 2019 | Answered

Hello!
I came across this fun and unusual plant and had to, of course, purchase it. I transplanted it and went to read up on care and couldn’t find a name of what it was. Since being transplanted, the poor thing is dropping leaves like crazy and seems so unhappy. What in the world is this guy and how can and I make him happy again?
Thanks for your time!

It appears to be a variegated Serviceberry although it is hard to tell without flowers or fruit. If so, these are incredibly sensitive to many diseases and pests, and will not grow very well indoors.
