Underground Cutworms in Tomato Patch

I am trying to control cutworms that are below ground and are attacking my tomato plants only at this time. What can I do to control this problem that I am having? Please help, as they are sucking the life out of the plants. I removed the two plants and they just seemed to go and attack three more plants, so I have just left them in the ground and are leaving them alone for now. I have put lime around the plants and am wondering is there anything else that I can do?
