Unblettered Medlars

Question

A friend has given me some medlars. They thought they were helping by putting them straight in the freezer unbletted! Can i use them now? and how do I proceed with them?

The fruit only needs a cool location to blet, so I suggest transferring them into the refrigerator or a cool garage for a few weeks. Then see how they come out.
