Types of Gardenias

I have several different Gardenias in my yard. Most are over 6 feet tall, but there are at least 3 different types. Several are with lighter color leaves and have so many blooms that they tend to fall over. One has very large dark leaves, thick stems, with the flower blooming right on top of the stem. Finally, I have another with dark leaves, thick stems, that has blooms that are like the lighter leaf ones, just slightly bigger. I have been trying to find the names for the 3 different types. Can you help?
