No you shouldn’t dig up the bulbs after they are done flowering. Once the flowers fall off you may trim off the flower stem but leave the leaves alone. Bulbs draw nutrients back into themselves from the foilage of the plant after blooming is finished. Tulip bulbs reproduce themselves. When you notice that the clumps of bulbs are getting thick and crowded you can split them up in the spring after blooming and space them out or replant in another location. This really depends on where you live. Usually, in warmer regions, it’s a good idea to dig them up and store them so they can go through a cold period prior to replanting. Of course, it’s not a must. Mine come back every year without doing anything special. They will require division, however, once overcrowding becomes an issue.
