Q.Tulips and Freeze Warning

Anonymous added on March 26, 2014 | Answered

Some of my tulips have bloomed, and we have a freeze warning tonight into the 20’s. What should I do to keep my bloomed tulips? Do I cover them (what is best to use?), or cut them and bring them inside to enjoy them?

As they have opened, the freeze can damage the blooms. You can try covering the tulips with a bedsheet. This is the best way to protect them from frost. I don't know how cold it will get there, but if you are still worried that it will get too cold, it may be best to cut them and enjoy them indoors.
