tulips

I thought I had planted tulips last fall. They grew nicely this spring. This past week, we have noticed 2, 3, and even 4 buds on every tulip stem. What did I do wrong? Are these not tulips?

I did spray deer/rabbit repellent on them, because we had some critters who nibbled on the tasty sprouts early on.

There are many varieties of multi head Tulips. This is likely what you planted and you did nothing wrong!

Each bulb flower can carry from 3 to 6 flowers per stem!

Enjoy the many flowers that you will have from these bulbs, and the envy of your garden friends who will want to know where you got those bulbs!
