Tulip Tree Seeds

Question

Hello,
I ordered a package of tulip tree seeds from Amazon and I just received them last week. I didn’t realize that the instructions are in Polish, and the seeds came from Poland. I want to get these seeds planted asap, I have heat mats and plant lights in my basement. Could someone please tell me how you plant them? I truly appreciate your help! 🙂

I've provided links to articles on growing tulip tree from seed. Please note that the seeds will not germinate without going through a 2-3 month period of cold, moist stratification. This process simulates winter and is necessary for breaking the inherent seed dormancy. Depending on where you live, you may want to postpone your endeavors until next year. Trees grow slowly at first and you will end up with small plants when next winter hits. They should survive but the conditions won't be ideal; be sure to provide protection from winter winds and sun and, if your seedlings are in containers, water several times during the winter months if there hasn't been rain or melted snow. Follow the link in the first article to read more on how to stratify seeds. Trees are best grown outdoors in natural conditions as soon as temps are above freezing. If you stratify now, plant the seeds outdoors when the required chill period is over.

You need to stratify the seeds first, which means keeping them in a cold, moist place for 2 to 3 months. Here is more:
