tulip bulbs

Just dug up some tulip bulbs. Can I replant them now where I want them to be next year or should I try to store them until fall. how should they be stored?

I would plant them right away, though it may be a few years for them to recover.

You can also store bulbs, though if the foliage doesn’t die down naturally or their life cycle was disturbed; they may not bloom for a few years.
