Is there a wrap or paste that protects the trunk of young Citrus trees?

Yes, there are many, many methods and wraps to protect trees. Depending on what you need it for, your local gardening centers or hardware stores might have what you are looking for. We cannot give any recommendations on where to purchase, though. Just make sure that whatever you use is specifically made for the purpose, or will allow plenty of airflow to the trunk or you might face molding from bacteria or fungi. Personally, burlap is my choice for winter protection. Plastic collars would be more appropriate for animal damage, and paints might be better suited for insect protection.
