Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI’ve read that one way to control trumpet vine root shoots and help control spreading is to plant it in a bottomless 5 gallon bucket. My question: To what depth will trumpet vine roots send horizontal spreading shoots?

This method may slow the spreading roots, but the invasive Trumpet Vine will spread it’s roots.
Choose a location away from the foundation or any other concrete structure.
