trumpet plant

My trumpet plant has been in the ground for about 4 months and only has leaves at the top. Some of the leaves turn yellow and fall off and I don’t see any new growth coming out from anywhere. What is wrong?

This is more than likely a pH issue! The plant doesn’t seem to have nutrients available to it, and instead of thinking the ground is infertile, I am likely to believe that the pH is off. This would make it very difficult for the plants to take up nutrients. there is a very easy fix for this. Dolomitic lime will do three things.

1. Supplies extra calcium.
2. Supplies extra magnesium.
3. Regulates pH, and keeps it stable.

Add this, and your plant should be back to normal in no time.
