Q.Tropical Hibiscus

Anonymous added on May 27, 2011 | Answered

Just purchased a tropical hibiscus bush. It was budding fine until after a week. I repotted two weeks after purchasing. How to I promote the best possible bloom environment? Might it be lacking potassium, and how do I add potassium?

It may be lacking phosphorus or it may not be getting quite enough sun. Both would discourage blooming. Bone meal will add phosphorus and you should see if you can't place it somewhere just a little more sunny.
