Q.Trimming lavender

Zone TQ14 0EX | devon artist added on August 23, 2019 | Answered

My lavender bushes have all but exhausted themselves with prolific blooms.
Is it a good time to trim them back.. its late August, but I feel guilty depriving the bees and butterflies which are all still going mad around the blooms.

Now is not a good time to cut them back. This should be done in early Spring. This article will help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/herbs/lavender/pruning-lavender.htm
